Human trafficking is modern day slavery. Every year, thousands of men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad.
The largest sex-trafficking crackdown in U.S. history occurred right here in New Jersey and resulted in the rescue of 105 children abducted from states across the US. These children ranged in ages from 13 to 17 years old.
President Obama has called the fight against human trafficking one of the great human-rights causes of our time.
